Lorelei School provides programming for approximately 340 students Kindergarten to Grade 6, organized into 18 classrooms. Kindergarten classes are held both in the morning and afternoon. Lorelei school offers a Regular Program as well as FSL and Opportunity Programs.

French as a Second Language - FSL

Students in our regular grade 4-6 elementary program receive 150 minutes of instruction in French as a Second Language. By learning French, students receive additional, indirect benefits such as the development of increased competence in their use of English or in other languages they may know; an increased ability to think abstractly and creatively and more cognitive flexibility.

Opportunity Program

The Opportunity program gives support to students who demonstrate mild cognitive disabilities and significant academic delays. Programming emphasizes development of literacy and numeracy skills, and the application of important academic, social, work and life skills in the classroom, school and community. The program fosters student independence.
